JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Hybrid (Downtown, Toronto)
Duration: 6 Months
Our client a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto is looking for a Business Analyst – Capital Markets to work with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure the changes are implemented successfully within the institute. The successful candidate will lead the project work stream for technical implementation and oversee the change implementation for the Capital Markets Regulatory program.
Typical Day in role:
- Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather requirements from business units and documents findings related to the project
- Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Report on workstream status to internal stakeholder, preparing presentations on project updates
- Responsible for raising any risks and areas of concern related to the project
Must-Have Skills:
- 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 5 years experience working in a Capital Markets environment
- Prior experience with Data/Process mapping
- Prior experience with Postman, Fenergo, and or Droit
- Strong familiarity with PowerBI and SharePoint
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Prior experience working on a Regulatory Implementation project
Soft Skills Required:
- Excellent oral/written communication, relationship management, and time management skills
- Fast learner with strong analytical skills and improvement mindset.
Education:
- University degree in business, finance or other relevant field preferred
