Presentation and Production Designer 

Our client is hiring a Presentation and Production Designer to support the development of sales, marketing and partner presentations, and the production of marketing campaign assets and material.


Daily Responsibilities:

Presentation design

  • Work effectively with the Senior Leaders, Partnerships Team, Marketing Team and other individuals to prepare presentation materials for internal and external presentations and new business proposals
  • Define, refine and work within existing design guidelines to create consistent storytelling pitches efficiently
  • Turn text and datasets into visualizations, graphs, and infographics in order to improve the consumption and understanding of information
  • Create new and update existing presentation templates to improve productivity and allow for team members to work independently
  • Make design decisions with minimal guidance and implement feedback with high accuracy
  • Deliver brilliant, dynamic presentations for both screen and print

Production design

  • Revise and complete of marketing creative assets based on production specs
  • Collaborate with Designers and Marketers on creative visioning sessions, ensuring concept designs and marketing strategies are delivered upon through final creative production
  • Assist Designers and Marketers with preparing digital assets for social media performance testing
  • Review print proofs, mockups and press sheets from suppliers; Make revisions as necessary and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality production and on-time completion
  • Ensure digital assets are implemented in a way that allows for tracking campaign effectiveness
  • Participate in design review sessions with stakeholders, gaining consensus and approval on design artifacts

What program/technology/software knowledge is essential for this role and in what capacity will the successful candidate be using it:

Microsoft powerpoint, Microsoft work, Keynote, Adobe creative suite


Must Have Skills:

  • 2-4 years of design industry experience
  • BA/BS degree in Design or a related field
  • Expert understanding of print and digital productio
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint particularly), and other presentation software (Google Slides, Keynote, etc.)
  • Powerpoint wizard – build assets in PowerPoint
  • Web ad creation – advanced animated gif
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software (Sketch)
  • Have a “can do” and “roll up the sleeves” attitude to get the job done
  • Fluent in communicating conceptual ideas and rationale
  • Portfolio with work samples showing a diverse range of work (from early concept through to finished product or experience)
