Reason for opening: Fill vacate position

Brief Project Description: 

Support Solution and Acceleration Project Delivery Team

 

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Provide project and portfolio financial reporting for all SA&I led or sponsored projects 
  • Provide delivery leads analysis of portfolio financial health and issues
  • Provide planning support for tools (i.e. project opening, funding updates)
  • Support Executive and program level reporting as required
  • Work closely with internal partners (i.e. other Planning teams) to ensure financial alignment for SA&I portfolio across sponsors
  • Provide tracking and support for SA&I SOW’s
  • Actively supports the Project Manager and Delivery leads in managing all aspects of the financials (including initiative tracking, reporting and managing/monitoring of actual versus plan, and processing of invoices)
  • Support PMO Director with the intake process including the planning and prioritization of the SA&I delivery road-map by preparing meeting agenda, documentation of minutes, updating the intake tracking log and maintaining the delivery road map
  • Perform periodic project audits to ensure governance and compliance with SA&I Delivery framework       
  •      

Certifications:

Required: University degree in business faculty (e.g. Commerce, Business, etc)

Preferred: Undergraduate degree Finance/Accounting (preferred)

Must Have Skills/Experience:

  • Financial management (2+ years)
  • Portfolio management (1+ years)

Preferred:

  • Experience in Finance
  • Previous experience with financial institutions
  • Knowledge and use of MIS and planview
  • Knowledge related to project cost management
  • Project management frameworks
  • Some working knowledge of Agile and SDLC delivery methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Prior experience as a project control officer
